Job Description Please describe the difference between a level one and a level two (include information related to responsibilities and years of experience) Responsibilities Continuous improvement: evaluate/monitor/escalate a roadblock identified while working in a role that can cause a defect downstream; support a root cause analysis. Proper use of equipment: fundamental knowledge and skills in operating heavy equipment, understanding safety procedures and maintenance practices. Receive shipments: unload shipments delivered by carriers. Inspect shipments: visually examine packages arriving at the fulfillment center and determine acceptance per SOP. Quality control checks: review requirements for each part number and process accordingly to the SOP. Document receipts: use tools and equipment to upload, store, and close out a receipt or work order. Data entry: navigate and select fields within an inventory management tool to input data from physical delivery of a part; navigate modules and read information as needed. Packaging: identify what type of packaging is needed, properly wrap/store parts with packaging at any stage. Sorting and staging: move packages/boxes/crates/storages containers, identify and secure to prevent loss. Labeling and marking: ensure parts are properly labeled and identified per SOP. Storage assignment/auditing: properly store and audit per SOP, using good judgment. Skills and Qualifications 2+ years of fulfillment center operations experience, including industry with receiving and inventory functions. Safety priority: adhere to safety protocols and guidelines; wear PPE and complete safety training. Ability to lift 50 lbs. World-class quality attitude, attention to detail, and dedication. Communication skills in a highly technical environment. Mathematical skills: calculations of percentages, area, volume, unit-of-measure conversions. Analytical skills: define problems, collect data, establish facts, draw conclusions. Ability to derive inventory requirements from drawings, specifications, and BOM. Ability to earn trust, maintain positive professional relationships, contribute to an inclusive culture. Keywords Education: Desired Educational Background A degree in Supply Chain Management or APICs or Lean Six Sigma certificate. Warehouse/Receiving/Inventory experience in the aerospace industry.
