As Manager of Workforce Management, you’ll provide leadership and operational oversight for workforce management support, governance, optimization, and sustainment activities. You’ll lead a team that helps ensure workforce management systems, processes, reporting, and integrations support operational, clinical, human resources, payroll, finance, and scheduling objectives. QualificationsQualificationsBachelor’s degree in business administration, health care administration, information systems, human resources, finance, operations management, or a related field requiredFive years of finance, human resources, information services, business, or related experience required ResponsibilitiesJob Duties & ResponsibilitiesProvides leadership and oversight for workforce management application support, governance, optimization, and continuous improvement activitiesServes as the functional owner for enterprise workforce management platforms, business processes, standards, and supporting technology solutionsEstablishes governance processes for reviewing, prioritizing, approving, and implementing system enhancements, configuration changes, and operational requestsLeads workforce management strategy discussions with operational, clinical, human resources, payroll, finance, and executive stakeholdersEvaluates emerging workforce management capabilities and recommends opportunities to improve efficiency, scheduling effectiveness, staffing practices, compliance, and user experienceOversees daily operational support for workforce management applications and related integrationsEnsures timely resolution of incidents, service requests, enhancement requests, and production support issuesEstablishes service-delivery expectations, support processes, escalation pathways, performance metrics, and corrective action plansCoordinates support activities among internal teams, information systems, vendors, managed service providers, and implementation partnersDevelops governance structures and facilitates cross-functional committees and stakeholder forumsEvaluates business and regulatory requirements, labor policies, scheduling standards, accrual policies, and workforce practicesIdentifies opportunities for process standardization, workflow optimization, automation, and operational improvementLeads planning, testing, validation, deployment, stabilization, and optimization activities for system upgrades, releases, enhancements, and implementationsDevelops communications, training, and change-management strategies that support adoption of workforce management capabilitiesOversees workforce management reporting, metrics, and analytics to support workforce planning, productivity monitoring, staffing optimization, and data-driven decision-makingRecruits, develops, coaches, and retains workforce management support staffAssigns priorities, manages workloads, conducts performance evaluations, and supports professional development, cross-training, and succession planning About the companySince 1954, Texas Children’s has been leading the charge in patient care, education and research to accelerate health care for children and women around the world.
