Senior Associate – Corporate Finance Business Valuation EY-Parthenon’s Corporate Finance Business Valuation practice invites a Senior Associate to work on commercial valuation matters, partnering with client management on acquisition processes and providing valuations for strategic priorities, with a focus on Intangible Assets. Your Key Responsibilities Work on commercial issues and valuations, provide valuations and fairness opinions for acquisition or divestiture transactions, advise on accounting implications of intangible and financial assets, and undertake valuations for fiscal purposes in the US market. Skills and Attributes for Success Commercial: advise businesses on valuation issues related to acquisitions or divestitures, and provide fairness opinions. Regulatory and Accounting: work with management to understand accounting impacts of acquired assets. Taxation: undertake valuations for fiscal purposes and advise on US tax valuation issues. Intangible Assets: specialize in valuation of trademarks, brand names, core deposit intangibles, customer relationships, banking and other licenses, patents, technology, and know‑how. Experience and Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, accounting, or business with at least 2 years of business valuation experience, or a graduate degree with approximately 18 months of related experience. Previous business valuation experience and financial modeling skills. Demonstrated record of solving complex problems and completing challenging projects. Residency or commutable distance to the office location. Willingness to travel and work beyond standard hours as required. Preferred Qualifications Experience in professional services or Big 4 firm. Financial modeling experience. Progress toward CFA or completion of ASA/AM designation. Knowledge of AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot. What We Offer You Competitive compensation and benefits package: base salary range $95,200–$157,100 in the US, with higher ranges for certain metros. Includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and paid time off. Hybrid work model, with most client roles working together in person 40‑60% of the time.
