Warehouse Supervisor

Full Time: Days

Pay: $28–$31 per hour, based on experience

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to lead warehouse, stockroom, and inventory operations within an electronic manufacturing environment. This hands-on leadership role will oversee material handlers, kitters, material coordinators, and pre-shipment auditing personnel while ensuring inventory accuracy, material availability, safety, and productivity goals are achieved.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate, train, and support warehouse and stockroom employees.
• Communicate daily and weekly production goals, priorities, and performance expectations.
• Oversee the safe receipt, storage, retrieval, transfer, and timely distribution of inventory.
• Coordinate material flow to pre-production and pilot-build operations.
• Work closely with production managers, planners, engineering, and program management.
• Maintain inventory accuracy, organization, security, and proper storage practices.
• Conduct or support physical inventory and cycle-counting activities.
• Use ERP systems to review material availability and expected delivery dates.
• Coordinate material transfers between warehouse locations.
• Respond to urgent material requests for production and units deployed in the field.
• Support material changes resulting from engineering or client-requested updates.
• Analyze warehouse needs and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Prepare records, reports, and operational information used to improve efficiency.
• Ensure employees are trained on required warehouse, inventory, and computer systems.
• Maintain a safe, clean, organized, and secure work environment.
• Assist with special projects and additional warehouse responsibilities as needed.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of warehouse, stockroom, logistics, or inventory-control experience.
• Experience within electronics manufacturing strongly preferred.
• Previous supervisory or team-lead experience.
• Strong leadership, communication, and customer-service skills.
• Knowledge of inventory-management procedures and material-flow processes.
• Experience using ERP, warehouse-management, or computerized inventory systems.
• Familiarity with electronic components, tools, parts, materials, and supplies.
• Ability to analyze information, maintain accurate records, and create reports.
• Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; an associate degree combined with relevant experience will also be considered.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to work in warehouse, stockroom, and pre-production environments.
• Ability to stand or sit for extended periods.
• Ability to communicate effectively in person and by telephone.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
