Lead C.T. Technologist

Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40 - Sign on bonus!!! Under the general supervision of the Director of Imaging, and within established department and hospital guidelines, plans, organizes, and directs CT staff in all activities of the department; responsible for performing diagnostic CT scans on patients. Required Skills/Qualifications/Training/Experience: 2-3 years of experience in radiologic technology, in addition to two or more years of progressively responsible experience in a hospital CT department Excellent communication, customer service and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize as needed. Leadership responsibility for efficient patient flow and accurate scheduling, as well as coordination of workflow for CT staff Oversight of CT supplies and associated budgetary impact Demonstrated knowledge and skill for proper use of all CT equipment Excellent command of verbal and written English Preferred Skills/Qualifications/Training/Experience: Siemens and Toshiba experience PACS experience Previous Cerner experience a plus Educational Requirements: Graduate of an approved school of Radiologic Technology. License/Certification: ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology and CT Technology, and Massachusetts Radiation Control License required. Successful completion of an intravenous certification class provided by this institution within completion of the 12 week probationary period.
