Description

American Traveler is hiring a Radiology Technologist (X-Ray) with OR and trauma hospital experience for an evening shift contract at a Level II Trauma Center in Bridgeport, CT.

Details

• Short-term acute care hospital with 426 staffed beds, operating as a Level II Trauma Center (accepting Level I traumas) and part of the Yale New Haven Health System
• X-Ray department with float coverage to the Milford Campus as needed
• 5x8 evening shifts from 4:00 PM to 12:30 AM
• Every other weekend required (approximately 6 weekend shifts over a 13-week contract), with the ability to pick up additional shifts
• Charting via Epic
• Free parking available on site

Requirements

• Current ARRT (R) and BLS certifications required
• OR experience required; C-Arm and O-Arm experience preferred
• Prior experience in a trauma hospital setting required
• License required if applicable
• 1 reference required for consideration

Additional Information

• Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible for travel rates; local candidates are not considered for this X-Ray position
• Former permanent staff of this facility must have been separated for at least 2 years before being eligible as a traveler
• Up to 7 days of RTO may be auto-approved by the facility
• Flu vaccination is required; declinations are not accepted
• COVID vaccination exemptions are accepted for religious or medical reasons only
• Navy blue scrubs required
