Registered Nurse School Setting in Prescott, AZ

This unique contract opportunity allows you to use your expertise to directly support a 3-year-old who requires dedicated, skilled nursing-enabling their participation and well-being throughout the school day.


Working the morning shift Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, you'll average 12-14 hours each week, with Wednesdays always off for a flexible work-life balance.


Qualifications & Experience:

• Active RN license, in good standing, for the state of Arizona (or compact-eligible)
• Previous experience as a school nurse or with pediatric patients highly desirable
• Competency in tracheostomy care and suctioning required
• Compassionate, attentive, and patient-centered in your approach
• Professional communication skills for collaborating with staff and families

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct, individualized nursing care to a 3-year-old student, including trach monitoring and suctioning as needed
• Observe, assess, and document student's health status and interventions each day
• Communicate effectively with school staff and parents regarding student needs and care updates
• Uphold school health standards and maintain a safe environment for your student
• Respond quickly and calmly to any medical emergencies or changes in condition
