The Custodian Janitor plays a key role in maintaining cleanliness and sanitation across various facilities. This position often works as an individual contributor or may supervise a small team, ensuring that all cleaning tasks are performed efficiently during fixed daytime shifts. While no regular travel is expected, occasional visits to multiple sites may be required to uphold facility standards.

Responsibilities

• Clean floors using a variety of methods
• Remove waste and dispose of it properly
• Sanitize restrooms to maintain hygiene standards
• Manage cleaning supplies and equipment inventory
• Dust surfaces and clean windows
• Replenish stock in restrooms and other areas
• Report maintenance or safety issues promptly

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ years of custodial work experience
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Knowledge of janitorial procedures
• Experience stripping, waxing, and buffing floors
