The Quality Control Auditor is responsible for ensuring that food products meet established quality standards within a food manufacturing environment. This role involves performing quality tests, analyzing data, documenting findings, and supporting compliance with safety and regulatory standards to uphold product excellence and continuous improvement. - Conduct quality control tests on food products using specified tools and software
- Analyze test data to identify deviations from quality standards
- Document inspection and testing results accurately and comprehensively
- Verify adherence to HACCP and GMP regulations when applicable
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve quality issues
- Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Follow proper lifting procedures to handle products weighing up to 50 pounds
- Support implementation and enforcement of quality control procedures and standards
- Participate in routine audits, inspections, and data collection activities
- Communicate findings clearly in written and verbal formats
- Assist with data entry and reporting related to quality assurance activities
- Maintain compliance with safety protocols and regulatory requirements
- Proven experience conducting quality control tests and data analysis
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with quality control tools and software
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends
- Experience in food manufacturing sector
- Knowledge of HACCP and GMP regulations
- Familiarity with laboratory testing methods
- Associates degree in a related field or higher
- Prior experience in quality control or auditing
- Quality control tools and software (specific tools not detailed)
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Occasional over time and weekend work may be required
- Jeans or work pants, t-shirt, slip-resistant work shoes or work boots
