Engineering Manager

Overview Engineering Manager – Manufacturing Operations: A leading advanced manufacturing organization is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead process improvement, product development, and engineering team performance within a high-volume production environment. This role is responsible for driving operational excellence through yield improvement, scrap reduction, and cost optimization, while supporting new product introduction and ensuring robust manufacturing processes. Key Responsibilities Lead initiatives to improve product yield, reduce variation, and achieve cost reduction goals Oversee and manage engineering teams, including coaching, development, and performance management Drive scrap reduction strategies and monitor progress against plant targets Manage and support New Product Introduction (NPI) activities, ensuring alignment with timelines, budgets, and technical requirements Direct efforts related to tooling, part design, and process standardization Maintain a strong presence on the manufacturing floor to support operations and resolve issues in real time Identify and eliminate production constraints and inefficiencies to improve throughput Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, quality, and leadership to meet business objectives Manage engineering budgets and support financial performance initiatives Lead continuous improvement and problem-solving efforts, including root cause analysis Partner with internal and external stakeholders to improve product design and manufacturability Establish and maintain robust manufacturing and process controls Support development of organizational structure and training programs for engineering staff Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering field 7 years of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment 5 years of supervisory experience Strong experience in process improvement, cost reduction, and manufacturing optimization #J-18808-Ljbffr
