Because you’re someone who loves to learn, enjoys people, and has a real heart to help, we encourage you to join us as a: Supply Chain Analyst 1 This is What You’ll Do Assist in the management of incoming and outgoing plasma shipments, as well as sample shipments for plasma testing. Ensure the highest quality of customer service excellence through managing both customer and vendor accounts including: Regular contact with customers and vendors on inquiries, complaints, and error resolution (internal and external customers). Maintain quality of approved suppliers through the Supplier Review process, by discussing defective or unacceptable goods, service with users, suppliers and others. Communicate issues/concerns regarding supplier performance involving purchasing, inventory, and product and/or service delivery. Assist in analyzing supply consumption, costs, quality, user supplier and other information to facilitate effective management reporting, financial reporting and verification and compliance with supplier agreements. Assist with customer and vendor visits, attending and compiling meeting minutes. Evaluate suppliers based on their performance by tracking and trending methods and the supplier review process. Develop good working relationships with users and suppliers. Purchase needed supplies from approved suppliers creating the orders following guidelines for approvals. Collaborate with operations on suggested improvements and needs for purchasing, inventory and supply management, and services. Work with the business on initiatives for improvements, process changes, supply changes, and/or supplier changes. Ensure timely notification of shipment schedules and potential advances or delays in shipments. Reconcile sample shipment and testing. Coordinate transportation scheduling for inbound and outbound shipments. Create and maintain accurate and quality shipment documentation, in accordance with domestic and international shipment requirements. Invoice all plasma shipments for outbound distribution. Create and maintain Supply Chain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), where needed, to ensure customer and vendor compliance. Track and trend customer and vendor complaints. Resolve logistical issues with suppliers and OPI locations. Interface regularly with the operations teams of the plasma centers, laboratory, and warehouse to assist in quality processes and procedures, in order to maintain superior quality of all incoming and outgoing shipments. Work with management to develop automated processes and reduce paperwork for all Supply Chain processes for continuous improvements. Work with IT to develop automated solutions through report writing, improved systems, and improved processes. Work with Regulatory to resolve compliance issues with lab samples and/or plasma shipments. Work with Finance to resolve shipment issues to drive timely invoicing processes. Assist with responses to customer or vendor requests in changes to demand and/or complaints. Answer questions and offer guidance on all aspects of supply chain. Assist with inventory risk and exposure reporting for sample and plasma shipments. Assist with the compilation of both internal and external communications, as needed, to support the operations of the plasma centers, laboratory, warehouse, and customer. Assist with month end reporting, and Sales and Operations Planning, to include monthly shipment reconciliations and forecasting reports. Assist in maintaining the established Quality System under FDA and cGMP guidelines. Provide assistance to the Department on other tasks and projects, as required. This is What it Takes Bachelor’s degree (preferably in business administration) or equivalent experience. 3+ years’ experience in a supply chain role, highly preferred. Experience in the biotechnology/pharmaceutical industries, desirable. Must have sound mathematical and analytical skills. Require excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy. Computer experience and proficiency with Microsoft Office products, including intermediate to advanced Excel skills. Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Must be flexible, adaptable to change, and willing to work in a team environment. Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing with excellent interpersonal skills. Results-oriented and self-motivated. Physical Requirements Ability to view video display terminal images for extended periods of time. Ability to sit for extended periods of time. Ability to lift, tug, pull up to twenty-five pounds. Ability to physically operate a computer keyboard, calculator and multi-line telephone system. Do Satisfying Work.
