Job Description

Embark on a rewarding opportunity as a school-based Occupational Therapist working with kindergarten through 12th grade students for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year in Troup County, GA. This full-time contract role lets you make a real difference in the lives of children by supporting their development and helping them achieve their goals within the school environment.

Your expertise in fine and gross motor skills, school-based occupational therapy, and the ability to adapt to different educational settings will be essential as you serve a dynamic and diverse student caseload. Working collaboratively with educators, families, and other allied professionals, you’ll deliver impactful therapeutic interventions designed to help students succeed both academically and personally.

Desired Qualifications:

Current Occupational Therapist license in Georgia (required)
Experience in school-based, healthcare, or home health occupational therapy settings
Skilled in evaluating, developing, and implementing individualized treatment plans
Proficiency in addressing fine and gross motor skills needs
Strong communication skills for collaboration and documentation

Key Responsibilities:

Assess students to determine needs and develop meaningful OT goals and objectives
Deliver individualized and group therapy sessions targeting motor, self-care, and sensory needs
Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families for integrated care
Maintain accurate records and contribute to IEP development
Provide input for accommodations and modifications in the school setting
