Apply today and make a difference in the lives of the patients we serve!Responsibilities may include:* Provide music therapy services to hospice patients based on their individualized plan of care.* Assess patients’ emotional, physical, and spiritual needs and implement appropriate music therapy interventions.* Use music techniques such as singing, instruments, and guided music activities to promote comfort, relaxation, and quality of life.* Collaborate with the interdisciplinary hospice team to support patient care.* Document visits and patient progress in accordance with hospice policies and regulatory requirements.* Provide support and engagement for patients and families during end-of-life care.Requirements for this position include:* Minimum of Undergraduate degree in music therapy, MT-BC (or be eligible to sit for exam-with certification prior to start date).* Therapist must have a valid driver’s license, car insurance, and reliable transportation.* 2 years of music therapy experience preferred.What ViaQuest Hospice can offer you:* Comprehensive training.* Benefit package for full-time employees (including medical, vision, dental, disability and life insurance and a 401k).* Paid-time off.* Premium holiday pay.* Flexible scheduling.* Employee referral bonus program.We offer comprehensive health insurance options, including medical, dental, and vision coverage.
