Senior National Traveling Recruiter

Broad Functions: The Recruiting Manager will develop and execute broad-based talent strategies, ensuring a total talent solution for the business. You will collaborate with leadership, hiring managers, and HR colleagues to shape the recruitment strategy to attract, assess, and determine top talent.

The role will interact with all levels of leadership to ensure the Talent acquisition strategy supports rapid and significant growth over the next few years. This is a highly visible role both inside and outside of our organization and this individual must be a self-starter with a sense of urgency.

Position leads the full life cycle of recruiting for corporate and field positions with emphasis on leveraging and building relationships in local communities and colleges, along with the Operations leaders in driving the strategy. The role will be responsible for ensuring end-to-end compliance in the hiring process.

This role is an exempt, salaried position, as defined by the Federal Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA). Due to the required strategic collaboration with other people (supervisory) and non-people management roles and/or while working directly with clients, the daily success of this role depends on consistently meeting and/or surpassing key performance indicators (KPIs), and various service level agreements (SLAs). To achieve what is expected of the role, it is a requirement of the position to cover full shifts, including work time outside of its regular scheduled hours, which includes weekends and holidays.

Job function and responsibilities:

1. ATS Administration : The role is required to follow the current HRIS/ATS workflow, SOP, and training materials to ensure compliance with all hiring. Continuous learning through UKG Learning Journeys must be maintained.
2. Compliance: The role will be responsible for owning all internal compliance within the area of hiring. This includes ensuring that all checklist items assigned to the associate are completed and I-9 and E-Verify requests are completed within 3 days of the start date, with appropriate review of Section 1 completed by the associate and Section 2 completed by the Recruiting Manager with the appropriate documents supplied by the associate.
3. Hourly Recruiting: Design, implement, and deliver, in partnership with the Senior Vice President, Talent Acquisition & Development, an effective talent strategy to source and attract the highest caliber talent to support our company's growth.
4. Recruiting Plans and Metrics: Develop and implement workforce plans and report on key recruiting metrics to measure team effectiveness and provide data-driven, actionable insights. Use various methods to recruit and network with potential candidates, including social media.
5. Sourcing: Determine selection criteria, hiring profiles, and job requirements for vacant positions. Maintains candidate pipeline for existing and new business to ensure appropriate staffing levels.

4. Consulting with internal departments to determine recruitment needs.
5. Support associates with post-onboarding questions.
6. Required to follow strict client requirements for background checks and drug screens as part of the onboarding process. Responsible for the full life cycle.
7. Client Relationships: Establish collaborative, customer-focused relationships with hiring managers.
8. Candidate Experience: Ensure an impressive candidate experience at every touch point, including use of mobile app pre-/post-onboarding.
9. Community Outreach: Create programs to support the staffing strategy, such as college recruiting and internships.
10. Staffing Report: Compiles weekly the overall staffing scorecard report to include open positions, upcoming positions, filled, and closed. Additionally, provide solutions for difficulty filling positions in assigned markets. Ensure quarterly objectives support the business.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Strong skills using Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and the ability to adapt to new technologies.
• Capable of adapting to changing environments.
• Required to be agile in nature and able to use critical thinking skills to learn new functional areas quickly, allowing you to work seamlessly across business functions and specialized areas.
• Associate's degree and/or equivalent work experience in the recruiting sector.
• 3 years of recruiting experience across varied industries such as Supply Chain, Logistics, E-Commerce, etc.
• Ability to travel up to 75% as needed in any given market.
• Experience with full-cycle recruiting from requisition creation to offer stage.
• Ability to build credibility with different levels of management up to the SVP-level to consult and influence.
• Organized with attention to detail.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office suite applications.
