Diagnose issues, perform troubleshooting, and complete repairs independently. Conduct preventative maintenance (PMs) on commercial equipment. Read work orders and communicate clearly with dispatch and customers. Ensure all work meets safety standards and jobsite requirements. Maintain tools, equipment, and service truck in good condition. Document work performed with accuracy and attention to detail. What We’re Looking For Experience 3+ years of hands‑on experience with commercial overhead doors, loading dock equipment, or similar mechanical trades. Strong mechanical aptitude and comfort working in industrial environments. Ability to work independently on installs and service calls. Technical Skills Experience with: Sectional doors Dock levelers & restraints Operators & controls Solid troubleshooting and mechanical diagnosis abilities. Ability to read and interpret manuals, schematics, and install instructions. Soft Skills Strong communication and customer service skills. Reliable, professional, and safety‑conscious. Able to manage time effectively and follow through on commitments. Works well without micromanagement. Requirements Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work on ladders, lifts, and in industrial conditions.
