This role will provide accounting and clerical assistance to the accounting department. This will include the financial, clerical, and administrative services to ensure efficient, timely and accurate payment and collection of accounts. Apply today to join the Burlington Telecom team!Job Type: Full-timeRate: $24.00-$28.85/hourLocation: Office in Burlington, VTResponsibilities Include:Collections process to include reporting activities to deadline, monthly disconnect and collection letters, and client communicationReview AR aging and monitor customer account details for non-payments, delayed payments and other irregularitiesReconcile daily cash receipts and maintain logPrepare bank depositsSubmit invoices to shared services accounts payableCoordinate new vendor setup with shared services accounts payablePrimary point of contact for vendor inquiriesMonthly credit card statement distribution and receipt processOffice supply orderingOther duties as assignedYou will need to have:Basic knowledge of Excel, as well as other Microsoft Office applicationsExcellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively across the organization and with external customersAbility to work independently and in a team environmentAttention to detail and accuracyDemonstrate good judgement and confidentialityAbility to work to meet deadlines1 – 3 years of accounting or related field preferredAssociate degree in accounting or related field preferred but not requiredWhen you join Burlington Telecom...You'll be joining an award-winning company and team.
