We’re looking for a full-time Physical Therapist to join our team at The Radcliff in Wood Dale, IL —a privately owned senior living community offering Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Memory Care.

Your role

You’ll be more than a therapist who comes into a building, sees a caseload, and leaves.

You’ll become a trusted clinical presence within the community .

You’ll get to know residents before they ever need therapy. You’ll build relationships with families, caregivers, nurses, and community leadership. You’ll recognize changes in mobility, function, confidence, or participation—and know when intervention can make a meaningful difference.

Your work may include:

• Providing high-quality physical therapy to residents across Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Memory Care

• Completing comprehensive evaluations and developing individualized plans of care

• Treating residents with a focus on function, independence, and quality of life

• Helping residents recover after hospitalization, illness, injury, or a change in functional status

• Addressing balance, gait, strength, mobility, fall risk, endurance, and functional performance

• Working closely with caregivers and community staff to carry therapeutic strategies into everyday life

• Educating residents and families so they understand the why behind therapy

• Collaborating with the community’s clinical team to identify residents who may benefit from therapy

• Building relationships throughout the community that help therapy become part of the culture—not an isolated service

• Using outcomes and functional progress to guide clinical decisions

• Documenting efficiently using Prava’s technology platform, including AI-enabled documentation tools

• Participating in a clinical culture built around learning, collaboration, and exceptionally high standards

The Radcliff itself emphasizes care that adapts as residents’ needs change and a team approach built around dignity, empathy, and individualized support.

We’re looking for a PT who:

• Is a licensed Physical Therapist in Illinois or eligible for Illinois licensure

• Has a genuine interest in working with older adults

• Believes therapy should be functional, purposeful, and outcomes-driven

• Builds relationships naturally with residents, families, and interdisciplinary teams

• Is comfortable working across varying levels of cognitive and physical ability

• Thinks beyond the impairment and asks, “What does this person actually want to be able to do?”

• Is confident clinically but humble enough to keep learning

• Communicates exceptionally well

• Takes ownership of their community and their clinical outcomes

• Wants to be part of something bigger than simply completing a schedule

Senior living experience is valuable, but it is not required .

What matters most is your clinical judgment, your curiosity, your ability to connect with people, and your belief that older adults deserve exceptional therapy.
