Vice President, Marketing

Lead downstream marketing and commercialization strategy for Shockwave Medical's intravascular lithotripsy products at Johnson & Johnson. This remote VP role oversees product positioning, launches, brand strategy, and cross-functional partnerships to drive growth in the cardiovascular MedTech space.

Responsibilities

• Develop product positioning, value proposition, and marketing campaigns for IVL products
• Lead go-to-market strategies for new product launches including pricing and account targeting
• Oversee brand strategy, visual identity, and multi-channel communications and public relations
• Direct medical conference strategy and planning of commercial team meetings and events
• Provide strategic input on product development programs and market research initiatives

Requirements

• Minimum 15 years of leadership experience in medical device industry
• Bachelor's degree required; MBA or advanced degree highly desired
• Knowledge of business finance, strategic planning, product development, and operations
• Understanding of healthcare markets, regulatory environments, and competitive landscape
• Experience with balloon catheter platforms or vascular medical devices preferred
• Proven ability to build and manage high-performing teams with strong communication skills
• Comfortable operating independently in fast-paced, entrepreneurial environments
