About the Opportunity This position is designed for someone who already has a solid foundation in wealth management and is ready to take the next step in their career. You'll work directly alongside the firm's Managing Partner, participate in client meetings, prepare comprehensive financial plans, coordinate planning recommendations, and assume greater client-facing responsibility as your capabilities develop. The career path is intentional. Over time, the right person will have the opportunity to take increasing responsibility for existing client relationships and develop into a trusted Lead Advisor while contributing to the continued growth of the firm. Responsibilities Participate in client meetings alongside the Lead Advisor. Prepare and update comprehensive financial plans. Conduct retirement, tax, investment, insurance, and estate planning analysis. Coordinate implementation of planning recommendations. Maintain proactive communication with clients throughout the planning process. Prepare meeting agendas, meeting summaries, and client follow-up action items. Collaborate with attorneys, CPAs, insurance professionals, and other trusted advisors. Assist with investment implementation and portfolio reviews. Take ownership of assigned client relationships, projects, and follow-up items. Continue developing technical planning expertise while strengthening presentation and relationship management skills. Required Qualifications Active FINRA Series 7 and Series 66 (or equivalent). Minimum of two years of wealth management or comprehensive financial planning experience. CFP® professional, currently pursuing CFP® certification, or willing to pursue CFP® certification as part of your professional development. Active Life & Health Insurance License or willingness and ability to obtain shortly after hire. Strong understanding of comprehensive financial planning concepts. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Exceptional organization, follow-through, and attention to detail. Ability to work full-time in our Charleston, South Carolina office. Preferred CWMA professional or current CWMA candidate. Experience using financial planning and portfolio management platforms. Experience using industry CRM platforms. Experience working within an independent RIA or comprehensive financial planning practice. Experience supporting the delivery of comprehensive financial planning recommendations.
