Five years experience in managing facilities. Familiar with standards for state, federal and private facilities as well as standards applicable to the healthcare facilities. Working knowledge of principles and practices of project management, business administration, financial principals and practices, and Human Resource management. Sound knowledge of health, safety and environmental regulations. Experience in construction, maintenance and all facets of facility operation. Supervisory experience. Solid computer and systems knowledge. State issued Drivers License. Must have reliable transportation and provide ongoing valid and current auto liability insurance.Essential DutiesDevelop and implement a facility management program including preventative maintenance and life-cycle requirements. Conduct and document regular facilities inspections. Ensure compliance with health and safety standards and industry codes. Maintain certifications. Allocate and manage facility space for maximum efficiency. Supervise maintenance and repair of facilities and equipment. Implement best practice processes to increase efficiency. Negotiate contracts to optimize delivery and cost saving. Ensure efficient utilization of facility maintenance staff. Performance manage, develop and train staff. Oversee environmental health and safety. Plan and monitor appropriate facility management staffing levels. Timely submission of all documentation. Performance of other duties as required.
