Job Description
Assembly & Production Support
- Assist in assembling trusses and structural components according to work orders and specifications
- Stage lumber, connector plates, and other materials needed for production
- Support assembly team members by preparing and organizing materials for production runs
- Read and follow shop drawings, production documents, and work instructions
- Learn and assist with operation of equipment used in the assembly process
Quality & Accuracy
- Verify materials and components are available and properly prepared for assembly
- Assist with inspections to ensure products meet quality standards
- Follow established production procedures and work instructions
Safety & Housekeeping
- Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirements
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Assist with housekeeping activities, including keeping workstations and staging areas clean and orderly
- Report safety concerns, damaged materials, or equipment issues promptly
Teamwork & Development
- Participate in required training and skill development programs
- Work collaboratively with supervisors and team members to meet production goals
- Support continuous improvement efforts and operational efficiency
- Perform additional duties as assigned
What you'll bring:
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
- Basic math and measurement skills
- Ability to read a tape measure accurately
- Ability to safely use basic hand tools such as hammers and measuring devices
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Experience in manufacturing, construction, carpentry, or production environments
- Familiarity with basic hand and power tools
- Experience reading shop drawings or production instructions
- Perform work in a manufacturing and production environment
- Exposure to machinery, noise, dust, and varying temperatures
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift
- Ability to lift and move materials as required
- Ability to work overtime or extended hours based on production schedules
