What You\'ll Do Join Kirkland & Ellis as a Billing and Revenue Specialist and be an essential part of the financial operations at one of the world’s leading law firms. In this dynamic role, you\'ll facilitate our billing and collection processes, enabling our attorneys and clients to maintain financial clarity. Your efforts will ensure accurate and timely invoicing, which is crucial for optimizing cash flow and sustaining the financial health of the firm. We value strong performance and a growth mindset! Lead the Billing Cycle: Oversee the complete billing lifecycle for assigned partners and clients, from proforma review to final invoice submission, ensuring accuracy and adherence to client guidelines. Drive Collections & Cash Flow: Monitor accounts receivable, track payments, and proactively coordinate collections with attorneys, clients, and the finance team to manage collections and tackle any payment discrepancies. Tackle Complex Billing Issues: Address intricate billing needs, including rate accommodations, high-level write-offs, and client-specific requests with effective problem-solving. Master E-Billing: Manage electronic billing through LEDES files and eBillingHub, ensuring successful submissions and prompt resolution of any rejections or issues. Partner with Stakeholders: Collaborate closely with partners, clients, and internal teams to discuss billing strategies, address concerns, and support revenue objectives. Deliver Exceptional Service: Act as the primary contact for billing inquiries, providing prompt and professional support that enhances relationships with clients and attorneys. Qualifications Bachelor\'s degree in accounting, finance, business, or a related field, with 2+ years of billing experience - preferably in a law firm or professional services environment. Exceptional attention to detail: You assure accuracy in billing and compliance with client policies. Organized & Efficient: Proven ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting. Collaborative Communicator: Excellent interpersonal skills to engage effectively with attorneys, clients, and finance teams. Adaptable & Proactive: Comfortable navigating challenges, resolving problems, and communicating issues clearly and promptly. Tech-Savvy: Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel); experience with Elite 3E and eBilling systems like eBillingHub or similar. Compensation The base salary range represents the low and high end of the salary range for this position in Chicago.
