Fire Sprinkler Fitter (GFPSFAVA-1)

About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Fire Sprinkler Fitter to join a growing fire protection company. This role is responsible for installing, inspecting, testing, maintaining, and repairing fire sprinkler systems in commercial, industrial, and residential buildings in the Ashland, VA area

Job Duties

• Install, modify, and repair fire sprinkler systems
• Read and interpret blueprints and drawings
• Measure, cut, thread, groove, and assemble pipe
• Perform inspections, testing, and troubleshooting
• Coordinate with contractors and other trades on job sites
• Ensure work is completed in compliance with NFPA standards and local codes
• Complete required documentation and reports
• Participate in on-call service when needed

Qualifications

• Sprinkler fitter experience or apprenticeship completion
• Knowledge of NFPA 13 and NFPA 25 preferred
• Ability to read construction drawings and specifications
• Experience using pipefitting tools and equipment
