Clinical Educator - Nursing (BSN Program)

Full Time (assistant professor) to teach a BSN program - Requires MSN and 5 years of recent bedside nursing experience in behavioral, Medsurg, OBGYN, or pediatrics

Job Summary: Our educational institution is currently seeking a Clinical Educator to join our team to teach nursing to BSN students. The ideal candidate should have an MSN degree and at least 5 years of experience in bedside nursing, with a strong background in either OBGYN, behavioral, pediatric or medical surgical nursing. This position offers both full-time and part-time opportunities.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement course curriculum for nursing students in a BSN program.
• Teach and evaluate students in both classroom and clinical settings.
• Provide guidance and support to students in their academic and professional development.
• Collaborate with other educators and administration to ensure program goals are met.
• Maintain and update course materials to reflect industry changes and best practices.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills.

Requirements:

• MSN degree from an accredited institution.
• Active nursing license.
• Minimum of 5 years of bedside nursing experience in either OBGYN, behavioral, pediatric or medical surgical nursing.
• Experience in teaching or clinical education preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
