Safety Manager Position Title: Safety Manager Reports To: Director, Health & Safety Status: Full-time, Regular position Category: Safety Location Name: Headquarters Location Address: Richardson, TX Responsibilities Provide HSE technical and compliance expertise to business leaders and personnel at all levels, informing and advising Management on HSE performance, compliance status, issues and potential risks. Provide guidance regarding compliance with applicable HSE related laws, rules, regulations and governmental orders Ensure facilities are complying with federal, state and local health, safety and environmental regulations by keeping abreast of existing and new legislation/regulation anticipating future legislation/regulation, interpreting standards, enforcing adherence to regulation and advising management on needed actions Conduct periodic reviews and audits of HSE compliance and oversee implementation of corrective actions Ensure that facility response plans and emergency response plans are in place Oversees preparation and submittal of all required HSE regulatory reports and information requests. Assists with the development and implementation of HSE EHS training program Responsible for EHS and Security due diligence for acquisitions and manage related integration issues Establish a Plan-Do-Check-Act culture of continuous improvement, incorporating near miss reporting, serious incident root cause and failure analysis, lessons learned communications, management of change, and incident prevention teams This position requires 15-20% travel Perform other duties as assigned Requirements and Qualification 5 years of experience in a Safety capacity or similar role Experience with writing policies and procedures for health and safety Proficient in MS Office Great interpersonal and communication skills BSc/BA in safety management or similar field Certificate in occupational health and safety What Do We Offer You as a Service Experts Employee?
