About This OpportunityWe are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Employee Benefits Account Executive to join one of the most respected insurance brokerages in the Boston metropolitan area. This is an exceptional opportunity for a licensed benefits professional who thrives in a client-facing environment and is passionate about delivering superior service to VIP clients. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in employee benefits account management, exceptional relationship-building skills, and the ability to navigate complex benefit programs for mid-sized to large employer groups.
Position OverviewAs an Employee Benefits Account Executive, you will be entrusted with managing a prestigious book of VIP clients, serving as their primary point of contact for all employee benefits matters. This role combines strategic account management with hands-on service delivery, requiring both technical expertise and outstanding interpersonal skills. You will work collaboratively with producers, carriers, and internal teams to ensure seamless benefits administration and exceptional client satisfaction. This position offers significant growth potential within a well-established and highly regarded organization.
Key ResponsibilitiesClient Relationship Management- Manage and service a dedicated book of VIP clients, serving as their trusted advisor for all employee benefits needs
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships through proactive communication and exceptional service delivery
- Conduct regular client meetings to review plan performance, address concerns, and identify opportunities for program enhancement
- Serve as the primary liaison between clients, insurance carriers, and internal team members
- Respond promptly to client inquiries and resolve issues with professionalism and efficiency
- Oversee the complete benefits renewal process for assigned clients, ensuring timely completion and optimal outcomes
- Coordinate with carriers to obtain renewal quotes and analyze plan options for groups ranging from 10 to 200+ lives
- Prepare comprehensive renewal presentations and recommendations, including cost analysis and plan design alternatives
- Negotiate with carriers
