IOP Phlebotomist

Labcorp seeks a phlebotomist for its Shreveport, Louisiana patient service center. The role involves performing blood collections, processing specimens, managing patient data, and providing customer service in a Monday-Friday schedule.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, and alcohol testing
• Prepare and process collected specimens for laboratory testing
• Maintain accurate patient and specimen information logs and perform data entry
• Provide excellent customer service and handle administrative tasks as needed

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3+ months experience
• Ability to pass color blindness test
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Reliable transportation and work independently or in teams
