Financial Analyst III

Position Description & Qualifications Serco is excited to support the Air Force Modeling and Simulation Support Services (AFMS3) contract. The primary purpose of this contract is to ensure that the Department of the Air Force (DAF), Department of Defense (DoD) and external partner agencies maintain cutting‑edge modeling and simulation capabilities that are secure, interoperable and efficient. The contractor will provide comprehensive support and innovative solutions that enable the continuous evolution and enhancement of M&S systems, ensuring readiness and lethality for the DAF and DoD. Qualifications U.S. citizenship. Ability to obtain, maintain or re‑obtain a U.S. Department of War (DoW) Secret security clearance. Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience in technical, engineering, cybersecurity or program management fields). Minimum five years of experience. Prior experience supporting AFMS or other DoD M&S programs is strongly desired. Ability to travel up to 10% of the time. Responsibilities Provides direction on projects from inception through completion and supplies financial and managerial assistance to ensure compliance with the financial requirements of the contract. Composes memoranda, reports and other documentation highlighting project steps and status for daily and weekly meetings with customers. Attends meetings and makes presentations about project status and work commitments. Ensures training of all staff members and instructs them on customer methods, procedures and standards. Evaluates, develops or implements procedures regarding project documentation and development. Participates in long‑range planning, analysis and program design. Assists in the planning and design of new projects. Leads relatively small proposals or assists with major proposals to acquire follow‑on business associated with assigned projects. Conducts complex work important to the organization and works with minimal supervision with wide latitude for independent judgment. Benefits Medical, dental and vision insurance.
