ICU Registered Nurse – Metairie, LA | Night Shift, 12-Hour Shifts

- Hours/Week: 36 hours
- Employment Type: W-2, Contract
- Licenses/Certifications: ACLS, BLS, CPI, NIH (can be obtained at facility for $100)
- Experience: Minimum 2 years ICU experience with Epic clinical experience

What You'll Do:
- Provide patient care in ICU settings, including lab sticks, EKGs, and line starts
- Float across various ICUs, and occasionally to ED or PACU for ICU patients
- Administer medications using equipment like Alaris IV pumps, CADD PCA pumps, and GE Monitors
- Manage ventilators, dialysis machines, cardiac monitors, and other advanced equipment
- Collaborate with healthcare team to deliver high-quality, immediate patient care
- Follow all safety, isolation, and infection control protocols, including COVID-19 precautions
- Participate in weekend shifts as scheduled (4 weekends per 4-week cycle)
What You Need:
- Valid ICU RN license in Louisiana
- Minimum 2 years ICU experience, Epic experience preferred
- Current ACLS, BLS, CPI, and NIH certifications (CPI available at facility)
- Ability to float as necessary and care for isolation patients
- Strong clinical skills, adaptability, and teamwork attitude
