Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit - Travel Registered Nurse

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 24 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience.

• 3 months of travel experience is required within the last 12 months.

• Experience with Epic is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Iowa license or compact license (required after submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• No current placement allowed at Program: TrioWFS Program - UnityPoint Health.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: Work history/resume/employment history must have 24 months of current Med Surg, Tele, Med/Tele experience. Post-op surgical care experience in EGD, colonoscopy, cardiac cath, pacemaker, including minor surgery. Experience with drips/titrates: heparin, insulin, diuretic infusions, amiodarone, diltiazem, 3% saline infusion. Must be able to comfortably/confidently read EKG/ECG including all Tele-related duties/responsibilities (rhythm strips, dysrhythmia reads).

Unit Details: Tele tech monitoring unit.

Shift & Scheduling: No call. Every other weekend including holiday rotation.

Floating Requirements: Will float across med surg units including post-op.

14 days maximum time off

2 Charge/Lead references required from within the last 2 years

Driver’s license required for submission
