Job Summary:
The Contract Specialist will support procurement processes for a 17-month project, ensuring effective bid management and item sourcing. This role involves coordinating bid events, item conversions, and substitution sourcing to optimize procurement outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and coordinate bid events to facilitate competitive sourcing.
• Support item conversion processes to streamline procurement operations.
• Submit item build requests accurately and timely.
• Source and evaluate substitute items to meet project requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure procurement compliance.

Qualifications:

• Hold a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Finance, Engineering, or related field.
• Demonstrate strong communication skills for effective stakeholder interaction.
• Possess previous experience in healthcare or government/public purchasing environments (preferred).
• Exhibit excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Be able to sit for extended periods and engage in face-to-face communication.
