Locum OB Hospitalist - Laurinburg, NC
Start Date: June 1, 2026 IMLC Accepted No Weekend Call
Assignment Overview- Location: Laurinburg, North Carolina
- Setting: Hospital & hospital-owned practice
- Schedule:
- Monday-Wednesday: Clinic 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (lunch 12:00-1:00 PM)
- Half-day clinic: 6-10 patients
- Full-day clinic: 15-20 patients
- Thursday: 24-hour onsite call coverage (7:00 AM - 7:00 AM next day)
- Friday: No shift
- Monday-Wednesday: Clinic 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (lunch 12:00-1:00 PM)
- Call: 24-hour onsite, restricted, no weekends , no beeper or call-back
- Patient Volume: 15-20/day, primarily adult OB/GYN, some under 18
- Support Staff: Clinical/clerical team and L&D nurses
- EMR: Epic
- Clinic and L&D coverage
- Procedures in office:
- LEEP
- Endometrial biopsies
- Colposcopy
- IUD insertions
- Ultrasound (2 rooms) with full-time sonographers
- Average 2-3 deliveries per 24-hour L&D shift
- Comfortable managing rural OB/GYN practice
- Board Certified: Obstetrics/Gynecology
- State License: North Carolina (IMLC accepted)
- DEA: Required
- BLS: Required
- Seasoned OB/GYN preferred (no new graduates)
- Clean background and NPI credentialing required
