Role : AWS Solution Architect
Location : Walnut Creek, CA ( Onsite)
Duration: 12 months+
Face to Face interview required
Responsibilities
- Design scalable, secure, high-performing, and cost-effective AWS cloud architectures.
- Lead cloud migration and modernization initiatives from on-premises and other cloud platforms to AWS.
- Develop architecture blueprints, reference architectures, and technical roadmaps.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or CDK.
- Design and manage AWS networking components such as VPC, Transit Gateway, Route 53, Direct Connect, and VPN.
- Implement security best practices using IAM, KMS, GuardDuty, Security Hub, WAF, and AWS Organizations.
- Architect highly available and resilient solutions leveraging EC2, ECS, EKS, Lambda, RDS, DynamoDB, S3, and other AWS services.
- Collaborate with development, DevOps, security, and business teams to define cloud strategies.
- Optimize cloud costs using AWS Cost Explorer, Trusted Advisor, Savings Plans, and Reserved Instances.
- Guide and mentor technical teams on AWS best practices and governance.
- Support disaster recovery, backup, monitoring, and compliance requirements.
Required Skills
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS Cloud Services.
- Expertise in:
- EC2, S3, EBS, EFS
- VPC, Route 53, Transit Gateway
- RDS, DynamoDB, Aurora
- ECS, EKS, Lambda
- API Gateway, SQS, SNS
- CloudWatch, CloudTrail
- IAM, KMS, Security Hub, GuardDuty
- Experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or GitLab.
- Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
- Strong understanding of cloud security, governance, and compliance frameworks.
- Experience with Linux administration and scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
Mandatory Certification
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate or Professional
- AWS Certified Security Specialty or DevOps Engineer Certification is an added advantage.
