Basic Financial Analyst

Financial Analyst (Basic) Location: Dahlgren, VA Program: Missile Defense Agency's Aegis-Based Defense program Duties The successful candidate will function as a member of a financial team supporting one of the Aegis-Based Program Offices. Prepare funding documents using the DAI Finance & Accounting System. Maintain accounting log (log/status for all funding documents). Conduct financial execution, record keeping, and analysis. Reconcile DAI/1002 status. Generate financial reports. Reconcile unliquidated obligations (ULOs). Resolve unmatched disbursements (UMDs). Build dormant account review - quarterly (DAR-Q) reports. Conduct year-end closeout of expiring funds. Resolve DAI/PRIDE system errors (document issues /status inaccuracies/monitor help desk tickets). Required Skills Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Excellent attention to detail. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Either have, or the ability to obtain, a DoD secret clearance. Associates' or Bachelor’s Degree in a related field from an accredited institution. Desired Skills Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field. MS Access proficiency.
