CT Technologist

Job Title: CT Technologist Profession: CT Technologist (Computed Tomography) Specialty: CT Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Nights Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: Minimum 3 years License: Required Certifications: ARRT (R), BLS Certification, CRT, Fluoroscopy Must-Have: Complete all required modules prior to arrival Description: Unit notes indicate that all modules must be completed before arrival. Travelers may be pushed back if all modules are not completed. Unit focus is on imaging and radiology. Shifts may vary from 1500-2330 or 1600-2430, with some graveyard shifts depending on staffing needs. Weekends are every other weekend. On-call duties are required during off-shift hours, Monday through Friday, and on weekends. The hospital can cancel up to four shifts per 13-week assignment. For assignments shorter than 13 weeks, the hospital can cancel three shifts. The hospital may also pay full hours for a particular shift in lieu of cancellation. The charting system used is Cerner. A BSN is required for this position. This position involves working in an acute care setting. Night shifts are mandatory, along with floating as needed.
