Therapist - Occupational Therapist

Job Summary:

Seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to provide clinical services within a dual-facility setting. This role involves delivering patient-centered therapies to improve functional outcomes for residents at two state-operated facilities.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Assess patients physical and cognitive abilities to develop individualized treatment plans
  
  
• 
  Implement therapeutic interventions to enhance residents' daily living skills
  
  
• 
  Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care
  
  
• 
  Document patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed
  
  
• 
  Maintain compliance with facility policies and safety protocols
  
  
• 
  Ensure the consistent use of identification badges and proper documentation during all clinical activities
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Hold a valid state license or certification as an Occupational Therapist
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate experience working with adult populations in a long-term care or rehabilitation setting
  
  
• 
  Possess strong assessment and clinical decision-making skills
  
  
• 
  Exhibit excellent communication and patient engagement abilities
  
  
• 
  Be able to work at least 3 days per week at Linden Grove and 2 days at Washington State Soldiers Home
  
  
• 
  Comply with facility requirements, including bringing a valid ID and wearing a photo badge
