Weekday Shifts: Rotates between 9:30 AM – 6:00 PM / 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM / 11:00 AM – 8:30 PM. Weekend Shifts: 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM. Overtime: Not required, but may be offered occasionally based on business needs. PHARMACIST | SUMMARY AND HIGHLIGHTS: The Pharmacist will collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary team of physicians, nurses, and pharmacy staff to maintain top-tier operational and legal standards. This role focuses on the accurate dispensing of prescription medications, clinical safety review, and exceptional patient care. This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment and include health, optical, dental, life, and short-term disability insurance A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates PHARMACIST | RESPONSIBILITIES: Medication Dispensing: Review, accept, and accurately dispense prescription medications while ensuring full compliance with state and federal laws. Clinical Oversight: Monitor patient medication compliance, identify drug-related problems, and evaluate potential over-usage or adverse drug interactions. Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Communicate effectively and work in conjunction with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare practitioners to coordinate patient care plans. Staff Supervision: Lead and oversee pharmacy support staff, including pharmacy technicians and clerks, to optimize pharmacy workflow. Patient Consultation & Education: Counsel patients on proper medication usage, potential side effects, and correct operation of medical devices (such as blood pressure monitors and glucose meters). Compounding & Record Keeping: Prepare sterile solutions following strict safety procedures and maintain highly accurate, confidential patient records. PHARMACIST | REQUIREMENTS: Education: Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree required. Attendance: Commitment to mandatory attendance during the first 90 days. Licensure: Must hold an active, unrestricted license from the State Board of Pharmacy.
