Respiratory Therapist CRT Dedicated Respiratory Therapist CRT needed to provide acute care ventilator management, record keeping, and respiratory therapy procedures to patients of all ages at HCA Florida Northside Hospital. Responsibilities Application and operation of acute care ventilators used for continuous short and long‑term mechanical ventilation. Self-directed in the absence of the full‑time Team Leader. Maintain all department and hospital records and enter accurate information into the hospital computer. Set up and administer all routine and complex respiratory therapy procedures to patients of all ages. Qualifications Completion of a Vocational/Technical program or AMA approved respiratory care program (Associate’s Degree); Bachelor’s Degree preferred. Current Florida State License (CRT) Certified Respiratory Therapist. American Heart Association BLS health care provider required. ACLS, PALS and NRP certification within 6 months of hire. Physical ability to stand, bend, reach, squat, kneel and move equipment frequently.
