Pride Health is hiring a Histotechnologist III to support our client’s medical facility in Nashville, TN 37236. This is a 3-month assignment with the possibility of a contract-to-hire opportunity and it's a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization! Job Title: Histotechnologist III Duration: 3 Months Pay range: $35per hour - $37.70per hour Schedule: Monday - Friday 8Pm - 6:30AM Job Description Perform complex histology and laboratory procedures in accordance with established protocols and regulatory standards. Review and verify laboratory findings to ensure the accuracy, reliability, and integrity of test results. Develop, standardize, evaluate, and modify laboratory procedures, techniques, and testing methodologies. Establish, implement, and monitor quality assurance and quality control programs to maintain laboratory compliance and accuracy. Operate, calibrate, troubleshoot, and maintain laboratory instrumentation and equipment, including automated analyzers and specialized testing systems. Supervise clinical studies, laboratory research projects, and related investigative activities. Train, mentor, and supervise laboratory assistants, technicians, technologists, and other laboratory personnel. Provide technical guidance and constructive performance feedback to staff members. Ensure compliance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP), laboratory safety standards, and applicable local, state, and federal regulations. Accurately analyze, document, and maintain laboratory records, test data, and quality reports. Collaborate with pathologists, physicians, and healthcare professionals to support patient care and laboratory operations. Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Medical Laboratory Science, Histotechnology, or a related field required. Minimum of 5–7 years of relevant laboratory or histotechnology experience required. Histotechnologist certification (HTL) preferred, if applicable.
