Overview Maintenance Technician II at Mayfair Management Group Location: Stonebridge of Abbeville, 2790 Rodeo Drive, Abbeville, LA 70510 Base pay range: $19.00/hr - $20.00/hr Note: This range is provided by Mayfair Management Group. Responsibilities Perform make ready duties to prepare apartments for new residents, including cleaning, painting, and minor repairs. Diagnose and repair plumbing issues such as leaks, clogs, and fixture replacements. Maintain and repair household appliances including refrigerators, ovens, dishwashers, and HVAC units. Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies. Conduct routine inspections of property systems and equipment to ensure proper functioning. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and work orders. Collaborate with management and other team members to prioritize and complete maintenance tasks efficiently. Required Skills Proficient in make ready procedures and apartment turnover tasks. Strong plumbing skills including installation, repair, and troubleshooting. Experience with appliance maintenance and repair. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Good communication and customer service skills. Basic knowledge of electrical and HVAC systems is a plus. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Previous maintenance experience preferred. Valid driver’s license. Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment as needed.
