Come join us and help us build The DNA of tech ™. Job Summary Vishay Tansitor is currently seeking applicants for a Planner/Buyer . In this position you will have full responsibility for handling the entire production flow of capacitors — starting from raw materials planning and purchasing, all the way through production to delivering the final product to the consumer. Location Bennington, VT – the world’s number one manufacturer of wet tantalum and conformal‑coated capacitors. Tansitor has approximately 100 employees across three shifts. Responsibilities RM supply planning and controlling based on historical usage and coming demand (using BOM). Work to reach divisional inventory turns targets and avoid slow‑moving/"dead" stock. Purchase orders creation based on price and terms agreements with suppliers. Constant follow‑up of orders with suppliers and logistic services until material arrival at the plant. Handle purchase orders pull in/push out based on demand fluctuations. Efficient production line loading within all limitations during fulfillment of customer demand. Follow‑up and adjustment of customers/production orders based on demand fluctuations. Meet divisional KPI (CMP; PMP, Inventory Turns). Inventory (WIP+FG+RM) control and management. SAP+ Mysis Key User Responsibility. Periodic report creation and distribution. Handle RM and WIP for engineering evaluations. Participate in RM qualification projects. Inventory (RM+WIP+FG) obsolescence submission. Qualifications Microsoft Office, Excel – very high level. 2–3 years of experience in planning, logistics. Experience in procurement is an advantage. Experience working with an international company is an advantage.
