Base pay range $25.00/hr - $35.00/hr Position: Voice Recording Specialist (South African Accent) Type: Hourly contract Compensation: $25–$35/hour Location: Remote Commitment: Project-based (approx. 3 hours of recorded conversation) Role Responsibilities Record natural-sounding phone conversations for a multilingual AI platform. Call a demo phone line and record short sessions from the caller side only. Spell names, email addresses, and phone numbers naturally, simulating customer support interactions. Vary tone, pace, and speaking style, including pauses and filler words for realism. Record calls across different environments (quiet, muffled voice, speaker mode, background noise). Log required call metadata accurately in a shared tracking sheet. Requirements Native South African accent from South Africa. Ability to place real phone calls (VoIP not permitted). Comfortable recording audio with light background noise for authenticity. Ability to meet a short turnaround timeline and follow detailed recording guidelines. Comfortable working independently in a remote, contract-based role.
