Job Summary:
This position is for an Emergency Room Registered Nurse at a rural critical access hospital located in Saint Johnsbury, Vermont. The role involves providing direct urgent care services in a fast-paced emergency department, evaluating patient outcomes, collaborating with healthcare team members, and ensuring high-quality patient care. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

Job Details:

• Location: Saint Johnsbury, Vermont
• Shift Time: Nights
• Shift Hours: 12 hours per shift
• Minimum Hours Per Week: 36 hours
• Start Date: 06/29/2026
• Required Qualifications: Current Vermont (VT) or compact multi-state Registered Nurse (RN) license, Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), a minimum of 3 years ER Registered Nurse (RN) experience, familiarity with or ability to learn Meditech Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system, and credentialing must be uploaded five business days prior to start.
• Preferred Qualifications: Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification is preferred.

Additional Information:
Travelers will start on Wednesdays. During the week of orientation, travelers on a 48-hour contract will only be guaranteed 36 hours due to midweek start.
