System Administrator

Position Title: WMS Implementation Administrator Location: 375 E. Markham St., Perris, CA 92571 or Somerset, NJ (Onsite 5 Days/Week) Job Type: Full-Time About the Role Insight Global is seeking a WMS Implementation Administrator to lead and support the transition from our current Warehouse Management System (Deposco) to Manhattan WMS across warehouse operations. This person will serve as the primary liaison between Operations, IT, and the Manhattan implementation team to ensure a smooth system rollout, user adoption, and ongoing optimization. This is a highly collaborative role focused on business processes, system configuration, training, troubleshooting, and operational support. The ideal candidate understands warehouse operations and WMS platforms and can translate operational needs into system solutions without being a hands‑on developer or IT engineer. What You'll Do WMS Implementation & Project Support Serve as the primary internal resource supporting the migration from Deposco WMS to Manhattan WMS. Partner directly with Manhattan implementation consultants, internal Operations teams, and IT stakeholders throughout the implementation lifecycle. Assist with system configuration, testing, validation, and user acceptance testing (UAT). Document business requirements and operational workflows to ensure the new system aligns with warehouse processes. Identify process improvement opportunities and recommend system enhancements during implementation. WMS Administration & Support Serve as the day‑to‑day administrator and subject matter expert for the WMS platform. Troubleshoot system issues and coordinate resolution with internal IT teams and external vendors. Monitor system performance and proactively identify opportunities for optimization. Manage user access, system settings, and workflow configurations. Ensure inventory, order, and shipment data accuracy across the system. Operations & Training Act as the bridge between warehouse operations and technical teams, translating business needs into actionable system requirements. Train warehouse associates, supervisors, and managers on WMS processes and functionality. Develop training materials, user guides, and standard operating procedures (SOPs). Support change management initiatives and user adoption following implementation. Reporting & Analytics Generate operational and system reports to monitor performance and identify trends. Analyze warehouse workflows and recommend efficiencies within the WMS. Maintain documentation related to system processes, enhancements, and issue resolution. What We're Looking For 3-5+ years of experience supporting or administering Warehouse Management Systems (WMS). Experience participating in or supporting a Manhattan WMS implementation, migration, or major system upgrade. Strong understanding of warehouse operations including receiving, inventory management, order fulfillment, picking, packing, and shipping. Ability to work cross‑functionally with Operations, IT, third‑party vendors, and leadership teams. Experience gathering business requirements, conducting testing, and supporting system rollouts. Excellent communication, training, and problem‑solving skills. Experience with SQL, reporting tools, and system integrations preferred. Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field preferred. Preferred Background Experience acting as a liaison between Operations and IT teams. Experience supporting users through change management and training initiatives. Strong understanding of warehouse process improvement and systems optimization. #J-18808-Ljbffr
