Shift and Compensation

• 1st Shift
• Monday-Friday; 7:00 am-3:30 pm (off peak hours) Monday-Friday; 5:45 am- 2:15 pm (peak hours)
• Pay: $19.00

Job Duties

• Manages inbound and outbound shipments and receipt of all products, materials, and supplies, including auditing outbound shipments and verifying inventory counts.
• Compiles, sorts, and verifies accuracy of data to be entered.
• Tracks, traces, and updates the status of incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Engages with customers, vendors, drivers, and co-workers with positive, professional, and respectful communication.
• Answers phones and responds to customer requests in a positive, professional, and respectful manner.
• Assigns inbound trucks to designated dock doors.
• Sets up, controls, and maintains all related files for customer stored materials.
• Verifies all received documents once materials have been received into all computer systems.
• Identifies, researches, and resolves customer issues using the proper computer operating systems.
• Follows up with customer inquiries not immediately resolved.
• Completes call logs and reports.
• Collaborates and communicates with logistics technicians/dispatchers and others involved in the shipment and receipt of products.
• Provides additional backup support for shipping and receiving departments.
• Performs cleanup of the office area at the end of the shift or as required.
• Regular (punctual and dependable) attendance is an essential function of this job.

Background Profile

• High School Diploma or GED preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 2+ years of clerical office/customer service experience required; additional education may be substituted for years of work experience.
• Prior SAP experience is a plus.
• Inventory control experience preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Proficient data entry skills required.
• Bilingual highly preferred.
• Strong customer service, organizational, and time management skills.
• Able to work Monday-Friday plus overtime, including some Saturdays as needed (especially during peak season, January-April).
• Able to lift and/or move up to 10 lbs.
