Operating Room RN

This is a 13-week contract position.

Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM

The Operating Room RN will provide high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures. This position is needed to cover for a full-time RN on maternity leave for approximately 3 to 4 months.

As an Operating Room RN, you will be responsible for:

• Preparing and managing the operating room environment.
• Collaborating with surgical teams to ensure effective patient care.
• Monitoring and assessing patient condition during the pre-operative and post-operative phases.
• Administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Maintaining accurate documentation of patient records.

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• Valid RN license.
• Experience in the operating room or surgical nursing preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) is a plus.
