Field Support Specialist

Hourly Pay range: $16-$18

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist an entire state with loan applications, call volume flows, and other processes as deemed within the Field Support Program.
• Provides excellent customer service by assisting customers on the phone and in the office with:
• Questions
• Concerns
• Product availability and knowledge of the product
• Services past due accounts per Company policies, including:
• Completing call route daily
• Performing skip-tracing on select accounts
• Updating information at each customer contact, including:
• Updating the borrower's record
• Service loans (renewal, referral, increase, etc.)
• Promoting all products available including tax preparation
• Taking loan application and processing for approval/denial
• Posting payments (cash, money order, check, debit card, inter-branch)
• Preparing loan documents and executing loan closing on current renewal loans
• Balancing assigned cash drawer daily
• Preparing and completing the daily branch bank deposit
• Securely transporting operating cash, interim deposits, and daily branch bank deposits to and from a bank in accordance with Company policies
• Maintaining daily delinquency reports
• Completing weekly progress reports
• Assisting with making and understanding monthly/yearly branch operating standards
• Maintaining an organized, clean, and professional work environment
• Completing weekly training on World U and any additional assigned training requirements
• Assisting with training other Associates
• Other duties include but are not limited to:
• Calling approved and unmade applications to close the loan
• Following the Former Borrower paid out program daily
• Sending complete and accurate credit denial letters within 30 days from the date of application
• Paying branch expenses as instructed by Branch Manager

Qualifications:

• Must have reliable personal transportation to perform essential job duties, including transporting operating cash and daily deposits to and from a bank
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license and vehicle insurance as required to perform assigned duties
• Education and/or Experience: High school diploma, preferably with a college level degree, or equivalent work experience
• Must be licensed or have the ability to obtain licensing to sell insurance products
• Must be able to demonstrate self-confidence and organizational skills
• Must be able to work well with a team and be able to communicate effectively with colleagues and customers
• To perform this job successfully, team member must have basic computer skills

Physical and Environmental Requirements:

• Office-based role with standard lighting and noise levels
• Combination of stationary work and regular movement throughout the office, including occasional walking, standing, bending, reaching, and similar activities
• Occasional light lifting, pushing, or pulling of office materials (generally up to 30 pounds)
• Ability to perform computer work, handle documents, and communicate information effectively
• Fast-paced environment with shifting priorities and deadlines; requires professionalism, adaptability, collaboration, and multitasking
• Frequent interaction with customers and coworkers; must communicate clearly and professionally in person, by phone, and electronically
• May perform incidental tasks to help maintain a professional office environment
• Occasional local travel to off-site locations as required for business purposes
• Regular in-person attendance during scheduled work hours is essential; occasional extended hours or weekend work may be required based on business needs
