Roles & Responsibilities

Implement individualized treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
Assist patients with therapeutic exercises and activities to improve mobility and function
Document patient progress and responses to treatment accurately
Educate patients and their families on home exercise programs and wellness strategies
Collaborate with the rehabilitation team to ensure comprehensive patient care
Maintain a clean and safe treatment environment

Qualifications

Active Physical Therapist Assistant license in Maryland or compact privilege
Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
Current CPR/BLS certification
Prior experience in an acute care or rehab setting preferred
Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for patient care

Knowledge & Skills

Solid knowledge of therapeutic exercise techniques and modalities
Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare teams
Proficient in maintaining accurate patient records and documentation
Capable of standing for long periods and assisting with patient transfers
Understanding of rehabilitation principles and evidence-based practice
