Specimen Accessioner/ProcessorLabCorp is seeking a Specimen Accessioner/Processor to join our team in Tulsa, OK.Work Schedule: PRN flexibility to cover additional shifts/weekends/holidays as needed.Job Responsibilities:Prepare laboratory specimens for analysis and testingUnpack and route specimens to their respective staging areasAccurately identify and label specimensPack and ship specimens to proper testing facilitiesMeet department activity and production goalsProperly prepare and store excess specimen samplesData entry of patient information in an accurate and timely mannerResolve and document any problem specimensMinimum Qualifications:High School Diploma or equivalentPreferred Qualification:6 months experience or more in a lab or specimen processing6 months years experience or more in a medical/clinical laboratory experience6 months experience or more in the healthcare industry, such as a physician's office, clinic or hospital6 months of experience or more in an assembly or manufacturing production environmentAdditional Job Standards:Comfortable handling biological specimensAbility to accurately identify specimensExperience working in a team environmentStrong data entry and organizational skillsHigh level of attention to detailProficient in MS OfficeAbility to lift up to 40lbs.Able to pass a standardized color blindness testThis role works in a high volume, production based environment performing a vital component of clinical lab science.Benefits: Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement and Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
