And if that’s you we would love to have you join us!Job DescriptionAs a Global Industry Technical Consultant – Data Centers, you are responsible for defining, developing, and scaling Rockwell Automation's technical stack and solution architecture for the global data center market.This role serves as the technical owner of the data center solution stack, working across Business Units to align current offerings and influence the future roadmap. You ensure that Rockwell delivers a repeatable, scalable, and differentiated solution aligned to evolving customer and industry requirements.You will also act as a global enablement leader, equipping domain experts, sellers, and partners to effectively articulate the value of the Rockwell data center stack and drive adoption in priority pursuits.You will report to the Director, Global Lighthouse Industry Solutions.Your ResponsibilitiesTechnical Stack Ownership & DevelopmentDefine, develop, and maintain the end-to-end Rockwell technical stack for data center solutions (hardware, software, and architecture)Translate market, customer, and project insights into standardized solutionsEnsure the solution stack is repeatable, scalable, and aligned with Lighthouse solution set principlesBusiness Unit Alignment & Roadmap InfluencePartner with Business Units to align current offerings to a cohesive data center solution stackInfluence and shape future product and technology roadmaps based on market needs and gapsProvide structured product requirements and feedback loops from global pursuits and customer engagementsGlobal Enablement & MessagingEnable global domain experts, sellers, and partners to confidently position and articulate the Rockwell data center solutionDevelop and drive adoption of technical and commercial messaging that clearly communicates value and differentiationLead global training, workshops, and knowledge transfer to support consistent execution across regionsPre-Sales & Strategic Pursuit SupportSupport high-value global pursuits by providing technical leadership and solution definitionGuide teams in translating customer requirements into aligned, standards-based architecturesEnsure consistency between what is sold and what is delivered through alignment to defined solution setsStandards, Governance & AdoptionEstablish and maintain global standards, reference architectures, and design guidelines for data center solutionsDrive adoption of defined architectures across regions and projectsFacilitate ongoing feedback loops to continuously improve the solution stackInternal Coordination & Thought LeadershipAct as the central technical point of contact across Sales, Business Units, Digital, and Engineering teamsLead internal forums to align on solution evolution, share insights, and scale best practicesRepresent Rockwell in industry events, technical forums, and customer engagements focused on data centersThe Essentials - You Will Have:Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Years of Relevant Work Experience.Legal authorization to work in the U.S. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visa, now or in the future, for this job opening.The ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 40% of the time to customers.The Preferred - You Might Also Have:Typically requires 8+ years in solution architecture, technical consulting, or product/solution managementStrong experience in data center infrastructure, electrical systems, or industrial automation within mission-critical environmentsDemonstrated ability to define solution architectures or technical stacks, not just support themExperience influencing product strategy or roadmap developmentExpertise in areas such as:Power distribution (LV/MV), control systems, or modular data center infrastructureIIoT, cybersecurity, and OT/IT convergenceCloud and edge architecturesStrong ability to translate complex technical solutions into clear customer value propositionsExperience enabling global teams through training, documentation, and structured messagingCollaborative mindset with a focus on standardization, scalability, and execution excellenceWhat We Offer:Health Insurance including Medical, Dental and Vision401kPaid Time offParental and Caregiver LeaveFlexible Work Schedule where you will work with your manager to set a schedule flexible with your personal life.To learn more about our benefits package, please visit at Rockwell Automation we are dedicated to building a diverse, inclusive and authentic workplace, so if you're excited about this role but your experience doesn't align perfectly with every qualification in the job description, we encourage you to apply anyway. Experience will be the determining factor for position level and compensation.For this role, the Base Salary Compensation is from $155,760.00 - 233,640.00, with an annual target bonus of 8% of base salary.
